The flying classroom at the edge of space

A stratosphere flight combines all STEM subjects in an exciting project and interlinks scientific theory and practice with the learning experience of a stratosphere flight. The pupils plan, calculate, build and launch a weather balloon with a research probe into the stratosphere and can finally evaluate and interpret the measurement data. The entire flight is recorded by a video camera. In this way, natural sciences can be experienced and the research results made accessible to the entire school community.
