For many years, Stratoflights GmbH & Co. KG has been working with Globalstar, which operates a satellite communication network of 48 satellites at an altitude of 1,400 kilometers, thus enabling near real time GPS tracking in almost all areas outside the usual data and mobile phone network! With the SPOT Trace, Globalstar also provides position data outside the data and mobile phone network during the stratospheric flight in order to track the stratospheric flight, e.g. in a mission control, the classroom or on the move via a cell phone app, and is therefore the perfect extension for our self-developed GPS tracker STRATOfinder with worldwide mobile phone network coverage.

Due to the many years of cooperation, our founder Tobias Lohf had the honor of presenting Stratoflights and its areas of application with the SPOT Trace in an interview with Globalstart.
